Waterborne paint dominating the age, environmental protection moulding the future
Chenyang Group (the full name is Hebei Chenyang Industry and Trade Group Co., Ltd) was established in 1998. Our Group is a green industry demonstration unit of energy saving and emission reduction engaging in waterborne paint R & D, production, and sales. Under the support of the state finance, our recoating brands have been applied in the Birds` Nest, the national stadium of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the Tian`anmen Square, where the great military parade took place on September 3, 2015.
Chenyang boasts Waterborne Paint Academician Workstation, Hebei Enterprise Technology R&D Center and Hebei Waterborne Paint Engineering Technology Research Center. Chenyang also has established the Nano-functional Materials Joint Laboratory under the collaboration with the Engineering Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. This is the first nano-functional materials laboratory on waterborne paint in China. Our Group takes lead in setting industry standards of waterborne paint and is one of the undertakers to carry out the 863 Program (National High-tech R&D Program).
The planning capacity of our Group is 1.25 million tons. At present, the annual output is 450,000 tons. Our products are widely applied in construction, decoration, furniture, home decoration, home appliances，automobile, shipping, transportation, light industry, electrical power and other sectors.
Sales network at home and abroad
Chenyang attaches importance to product quality and brand value guidance. Our products cover several series of over one hundred varieties, such as water-based home decoration paints, water-based architectural paints and water-based industrial paints. Our Group has passed the ISO9001 international quality system certification, the European Union SGS environmental testing certification and Germany TUV environmental protection testing certification successively, demonstrating our ability in competing with international brands.
Chenyang has been successfully selected as the waterborne paint supplier of 2008 Olympic city facade painting project. It has been listed as one of the qualified waterborne paint suppliers of Sinopec. Our anti-mildew and moisture-proof products have been successfully applied in Beijing subway project, pioneering the application of waterborne coatings in subway projects. Our waterborne paints have been exported to Countries in Europe, America, Africa, Oceania and Southeast Asia, such as the United States, Russia, Ghana, Angola, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Papua New Guinea, Mongolia, Myanmar and Philippines.
Holding world-class product technology
Our Group is the undertaker of the National 863 Program "Wind Turbine Blade Protective Coatings" and one of the leaders in setting the industry and national standards of water-based wickerwork paints. We participated in the standard formulation of water-based automobile paints, water-based polyurethane floor paints, etc. More than 20 products researched and developed by our Group, such as water-based metal protection paints and water-based wooden handicraft paints, have obtained the provincial certificate for scientific and technological achievements. Among these products, water-based alkyd resin paint has filled the domestic void.
Our Group highly values scientific research innovation of waterborne paints. We have established the National Academician Workstation on Waterborne Paints. We have set up the Nano-functional Materials Joint Laboratory by collaborating with the Engineering Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. We have also carried out research cooperation with China National Coatings Industry Association, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Hebei University of Science and Technology and other scientific research institutions. Besides, we have established Enterprise Technology Center, Hebei Waterborne Coatings Engineering Technology Research Center and Hebei Enterprise Technology Center. As a competitive intellectual property cultivation enterprise in Hebei province, Chenyang has independently researched, developed and completed over 100 science and technology projects and has declared over 200 patents of invention.
Seeking for green development to build leading brands of Chinese waterborne paints
Our Group is committed to energy saving and environmentally-friendly waterborne paint research, development and production. At present, its annual production capacity is up to 1.26 million tons. Compared with the traditional paint factory with the same production capacity, our Group can reduce VOC emissions by 360,000 tons per year, save 720,000 tons of oil and 1,029,000 tons of standard coal. Carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced by 2,574,000 tons, equaling to emissions of 360,000 cars in one year. In July 2013, CCTV News Broadcast reported the safe and pollution-free Chenyang wateborne paint and spoke highly of it. Our Group was awarded the title of “2013 Hebei Green Enterprise” and the “2013 Environmental Stewardship Award” offered on the Chinese Corporate Social Responsibility Summit.
